We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our dental family, Dr. Shona Teeple, who has joined our practice as an associate dentist. Dr. Teeple brings a compassionate approach to dentistry, a commitment to exceptional patient care, and a genuine passion for building relationships with the patients she serves.
Meet Dr. Shona Teeple
A Salt Lake City native, Dr. Teeple began her career in medical research at the University of Utah before discovering her passion for direct patient care through volunteer work with CARE Fair, a free medical and dental clinic. Her experiences there inspired her to pursue dentistry and find a career where she could make a direct and meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Dr. Teeple earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University, where she also met her husband. After completing her dental education, she was thrilled to return home to Utah to serve the community she loves.

Dr. Teeple enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to providing high-quality care with kindness, precision, and respect. She has a special interest in endodontics, including root canal therapy, allowing many patients to receive this specialized treatment conveniently within our office.
Her dedication to continued learning and comprehensive care helps ensure that patients receive thoughtful treatment tailored to their individual needs.

Outside of the office, Dr. Teeple enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young daughters. Her family enjoys hiking Utah’s beautiful trails, attending live music and comedy shows, and relaxing at home with their Dalmatian and rescued cat.
